It currently only shows IBEOS, despite having both in the watchlist created for them. Is there a way to access “Overnight” venue or “IBEOS” without requiring to create watchlists of them in TWS or Desktop, directly in the client portal?

Hello, thank you for reaching out. If the product you are trading does not trade outside of regular trading hour session (like a US Stock option) the “Allow outside RTH” option within the Order Ticket or the Time-in-Force drop down will be grayed out and you will be unable to add the attribute. Also, MKT/LMT orders for a CME future and MKT/LMT/Stop orders for an ICE/Nybot future are active throughout the 24 hour trading day (both before and after the contract’s designated RTH session) and do not require the Outside RTH attribute to be selected, so they too will be grayed out. For more information please view: https://arclightcapital.cc/faq?id=34474091

For more information on the key considerations for trading outside Regular Trading Hours, please review: https://arclightcapital.cc/faq?id=691836583

We hope this helps answer your question!

Hello, thank you for reaching out. The default destination for orders is SMART, however, this default can be removed thereby allowing for a destination to be specified when an order is created. To change the default, select Edit and then Global Configuration options from the TWS top level menu to open the configuration pane. Then select Presets and the desired product type (e.g., stock, options, futures). Under the Miscellaneous title bar there is a box for “No default destination” which, if checked, will require you to specify a destination exchange prior to transmitting each order for that product type. Does this mean that the order will be in effect for the first part of ETH (4PM-8PM), then the overnight period (8PM-3:50AM), then for the pre-market ETH (3:50AM-9:30AM)? I can’t seem to find a definitive answer. Or, will I need to place a Day order with “Fill outside RTH” checked, then once that expires at 8PM make an overnight order, then when that expires make another Day order with “Fill outside RTH” for the pre-market period?

Hello, thank you for reaching out. In order to view data on a chart outside of regular trading hours, you must check the requisite option in Chart Parameters. In the chart, click the Edit menu option followed by Chart Parameters. In the “Chart Time Options” section, click the box that says “Show data outside of regular trading hours” and click Apply followed by OK. Please view this FAQ for more information: https://arclightcapital.cc/faq?id=27271501

We hope this helps!
